Inconsequentials
Accomplished - I left the 'Ivory Tower' today to process several quarts of strawberries into jam. There is absolutely nothing like the taste of strawberry freezer jam.
Random Fandom - Nominations are underway at both the IYFG and Dokuga. I've made my lists, but I still have slots open, so I'm exploring my options.

....So. I've been busy. Sort of. Have a story. And an AMV. Alright, have two. XD

What was right was not always just. What was just was not always right. It was not her place to judge others; that was not why she wore the scarlet, no matter what her fellow Cardinals thought.
Justice, as defined by the law, meant that she would face her death with the rising of the sun. She'd been denied the common courtesy extended to noble traitors of death by firing squad, and been promised the flames and pain given a heretic. Perhaps it would prepare her for the tormenting flames of hellfire.
She had no qualms admitting here at the last that Havel had been correct. She had no faith. Only a vengeful heart.
So perhaps her death would be truly just.
She was content that she would not have changed her life's course, even knowing that it would lead her here.
She would face the flames with her head held high and pride in her heart, confident that she had done what had to be done.
Besides, her fate would soon be in the hands of a far more merciful Judge.
"Blessed are those who mourn..." she whispered and rose to face the dawn.

I am going to try not to be emo or melodramatic here, because that crap's for my personal journal. I could make excuses for abandoning this community, but the truth is I was only homeless for a few weeks, and there was only ONE breakup, so this is still rather inexcusable. All I can say is, I screwed up, I'm sorry, and I'll try not to do it again.
Yesterday was Tanabata, wasn't it? A time for new beginnings if ever there was one. And since this post is a day late, a time for new beginnings for procrastinators. *g*
Since this month has already started, I figure I'll put uncompleted requests up for adoption, and start a new round come the end of the month. And then there will be banners and more voting and all that good stuff.

I re-posted the Love Poems From Jakotsu. I added a few of my Thundercats stories for those interested. You might want to check out Exodus, my warped re-telling of the series' pilot episode. Also the Thunderian Horror Anthology is good for a few scares and you may find ideas that I turned into full-fledged IY stories.
The next half of the update will be re-inserting the missing italic tags...orgasmic joy that will be :(

Dr Miroku
Some of you who have read my journal for a few months know that there is one particularly yummy resident at the office that I lovingly refer to as Dr. Miroku, even to him. This is the man who snookered me into working his Nascar hell weekend while I was considering what he'd look like in something more revealing.
Well, since he is former military and interested in this fanfiction thing I do, I recently encouraged him to read The Phoenix Blade, Time Lapse by Fenikkusuken. The naughty person inside me was just waiting to find out what he thought when he read about our favorite Housi-doushi.
Today right before quitting time, Dr Miroku came to my suite with an odd, questioning look on his face and holding a stack of papers. I wasn't sure what was going on, so I took the papers. He asked if I would care to explain. I looked at the pages. It was chapter 12 of TL. The chapter where Miroku is introduced to the rest of the group.
I blushed.
I stammered.
I snickered.
I started to giggle.
I considered explaining.
But, I decided to simply say, "I just calls 'em like I see 'em," and quickly left the area.
Dr Miroku had a dropped jaw.
I'm certain I'm toast. But in a good way. : )
