Either rating is fine for me. I generally don't write above an R myself, but I'd be a liar if I said I didn't read other people's NC-17 work. ;) Do whatever best suits the story. ^_^

Well now, I'm your Sess/Kag fan. Just please, please promise me that your tale won't involve Kagome running smack into Sess in the woods as she weeps over Inu's betrayal...and that Sess won't suddenly realize that he's always respected, nay loved, the strange little miko from the future. ::gag::

There's always the powerful miko attracts curiosity of powerful youkai angle. Or the playgroup tactic. Youkai father figure of human girl seeks Human miko raising youkai boy to compare childrearing tips. ::snort::

oh joy. i have a taker. i'll be honest, since i don't read sess/kag, i can't intentionally reproduce any particular bad!fic theme - which, by the way, doesn't mean that i won't invent it all by myself. i'm going to have to think about this since, as i think i've said to you before, i really have the hardest time imagining Kagome with anybody but Inu. If you've ever thought of any angles you havn't seen explored, feel free to lob them my way. at least it will help me think about a plausible angle.

unfortunately, the only angle that's ever made sense to me is inu's death. *sigh*

btw: i have to admit that i have the same trouble with sess/rin, depsite having written two now (one still unpublished). he's just so hard to read/figure out. giving the guy ANY feeling always make him seem OOC to me. *sigh again*

Hmm. I have extensive knowledge of every possible purile ploy to put those two together. I think that's why it's rare for me to get past the first chapter or two of most S/K fics. The most plausible dealings with Inu either have him choosing Kikyo, dying in battle, or realizing that he and Kagome have nothing more than a sibling-like affection for one another. As far as unbending Sess...often that's dealt with by thrusting him into future Tokyo with Kagome as tourguide, having him succumb to the heat of mating season, or simply having him mellow with age until he meets Kagome in her own time as a business tycoon of some sort. There are good and bad fics in all these categories. I should set up a syllabus for potential S/K readers.

actually, you should set up such a syllabus. i think that's what paynesgrey did on that sess/kag site she set up... can't remember where. yeah. i thought of all those things.... but as we've been going back and forth, i have a slightly different idea brewing... *slams it back down to go finish 'happy' tragedy*

Oh yes. I've read a couple of Nar/Kag NC-17 fics...just out of curiosity, mind you. If you want a peek at a well-written one, check out Sleeping With the Enemy (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2331818/1/). Compelling, but a little creepy. I finally decided I couldn't really get past the "Eww" factor when it comes to Naraku. Kind of a shame...nice voice.

haha. can you believe that Paul Dobson also does Myoga? that's just a headslap to me. oh well. i've read several (shorts) i thought were interesting in a depressing sort of way. i may check that link out. thanks for leaving it here on this post.

i've also had an interesting idea about inu/kag/comedly more recently, but it will have to wait until it can become a spinoff of the Romp II sequel. so many ideas, so little time!
